MWIPT is looking for new members interested in breaking news, incident photography, and documenting the events happening throughout Indianapolis.
Our photographers respond to newsworthy incidents across the Indianapolis area, capturing photos and video for use by local news organizations and MWIPT.
MWIPT is a volunteer-based organization. You don’t need years of experience or an expensive equipment setup to get started. We’re looking primarily for people who are reliable, responsible, willing to learn, and genuinely interested in what we do.

Even when you’re covering an incident on your own, you’re never truly working alone. MWIPT is built around teamwork—other members are only a call away, information is shared across the team, and when a situation calls for additional help, others can jump in and work alongside you. Whether you need another photographer, help covering a large scene, or simply another set of eyes, you may work independently in the field, but you never operate alone.

Requirements:
At least 18 years or older.
A valid drivers license.
Mirrorless/DSLR or Video Camera preferred.
Must pass a criminal background check and meet our internal background requirements.
